David Dotson

Managing Director of Property and Casualty

Dave holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation along with the Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) designation and the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) designation from the American Institute for CPCU. He is a member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors and the Society of CPCU, National and Arizona Chapter.   Dave is also a member in good standing of the Arizona Multihousing Association (AMA).

Using his 30 plus years of experience helping clients manage risk, Dave has served a diverse client base that includes the Healthcare profession, Real Estate including Habitational, Law Firms, Hospitality, Manufacturers, Contractors, Retailers, and Non-Profits.

Within these specialties Dave has the vision and creativity to provide innovative solutions to managing risk. Dave has developed specific expertise in the design, marketing, servicing and coordination of all property and casualty coverages including professional liability.

Dave also serves as Managing Director of the Nexus Partners Insurance Healthcare Practice. With his extensive healthcare and risk management expertise, Dave helps his clients protect and enhance their capital by lowering their cost of risk. With his customer service driven service model Dave serves clients that include healthcare facilities, physicians and physician groups. Dave will provide comprehensive solutions to malpractice challenges, executive protection, and general healthcare practice loss prevention as well as Data Breach prevention and Cyber Liability coverages.

Hans G. Olsson

Managing Director of Employee Benefits

Hans Olsson Sr. moved to Arizona from Sweden almost 30 years ago, where he settled down and started a family. He has been involved with Insurance industry since 1985 and has been a broker for both Property/Casualty and Health/Life Insurance during this period. He has assisted more than 500 businesses in getting the very best employee benefit programs in place. Hans has worked closely with all the major insurance carriers over the years, building close broker relationships with Aetna, Blue Cross, CIGNA, Health Net, Humana, Met Life, Transamerica and United Healthcare to name a few.  He has received many industry recognitions “Premier Producer Chairman Level” for Aetna Small Group Benefits. In 2012, he finished as Aetna’s #1 producer for Arizona and the region.  Hans also manages Nexus Partners’ individual health insurance practice and is very knowledgeable on the subject of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Dr. Martin Fekete D.H.Sc., M.B.A., CSP

Director of Safety and Loss Control

Dr. Fekete holds a Doctorate in Health Sciences from A.T. Still University and the Arizona School of Health Sciences, a Master’s in Business Management Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in Health Sciences. He is a member of the American College of Epidemiology, Society of Human Resource Management and is a Board Certified Safety Professional. He has numerous certifications and experience in Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, environmental health & safety law, occupational health, policy development, worker’s compensation, organizational leadership, public and employee relations.

Prior to joining Nexus Partners, Dr. Fekete was Sr. Consultant at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station and former President and founder of Phase One Environmental Consultants. He has over twenty-eight years experience with Fortune 500 companies including Motorola, Rogers Corporation, AMD and McDonnell Douglas Aerospace.

Steven Diamond

Director of Workers’ Compensation

Steven specializes in sourcing and administering workers’ compensation policies for our clients and has worked in the workers’ compensation area since 1999.  He has led Nexus Partners’ large group workers’ compensation practice since 2006 and further specializes in working with professional employer organizations and their clients.  In addition to his role as broker, he directs the operations of Nexus Partners’ customer service, claims administration, return to work and policy audit functions.  Steven also assists clients with OSHA compliance and safety programs to help them keep the total cost of risk management to a minimum.
